Kubernetes – Security

Kubernetes is an open-source platform for managing containerized workloads and services.

This series of workshops is designed to introduce IT professionals to the use of the platform, also considering part of the ecosystem of services and tools available around the platform itself.

The proposed training course is designed in 7 modules. Each module is designed as an 8-hour workshop, and the training topics also include the Rancher platform, created to meet the need to simplify Kubernetes administration.

 

Topics ( 4 hours)

 

  • Overview security
  • kubernetes primitives for security management
  • Rbac; Privileged access ; namespace; segregation of duty; certificates

 

Labs( 4 hours)

  • Configure Privileged and unprivileged execution environments Create a custom Roles .

Workshop

Kubernetes – Security

Aimed at: System Administrators, DevOps, Platform Engineers, Site Reliability Engineers, Cloud and Infrastructure Engineers
Recommended prerequisites: Skills in system and service administration, knowledge of fundamental container concepts. Basic skills in networking concepts, familiarity with microservice architectures is useful.
Duration: 8 hours
