Distributed work
The working environments of the various sorint sites have been reorganised, moving beyond the concept of the traditional office floor and rethought as Spaces for sharing and meeting for the people of sorint.
In order to facilitate work as much as possible and to facilitate internal communication, work organisation, scheduling of meetings, we have developed tools that are fully designed and implemented by internal sorint teams: this work is truly distributed, regardless of where you choose to work!

The working environments of the various sorint sites have been reorganised, moving beyond the concept of the traditional office floor and rethought as Spaces for sharing and meeting for the people of sorint.
In order to facilitate work as much as possible and to facilitate internal communication, work organisation, scheduling of meetings, we have developed tools that are fully designed and implemented by internal sorint teams: this work is truly distributed, regardless of where you choose to work!

Hackersgen: the platform developed by sorint. Lab aims to provide students with a training environment on more innovative it technologies and concrete support for the development and implementation of personal school projects. Free registration of the platform by schools, computer science teachers and students, allows access to a catalogue of courses that is constantly being extended and updated, in order to better adapt to innovation in the sector and to the technologies most used by it companies.
The offer consists of courses given by sorint experts. Lab, divided into ‘level’ and ‘on demand’ courses. The student, with the support of tutor sorint. Lab, can continuously improve its project and compare with other project teams that are experiencing similar experiences. A real experimental laboratory, to test its ability and to bring its talent to bear.
Summer campus: since 2017, sorint has offered newly qualified students and students the opportunity to attend the sorint summer campus free of charge, an event that has been taking place completely remotely since 2020. Since 2021, we have expanded the offer to three campus editions to allow many hackersgen users to participate in these training sessions. For two weeks, we offered full time training on topics ranging from the administration of the most frequently used operating systems to the most common programming languages, with overviews of the world of databases and networks. At the end of the campus, each participant was scheduled to have an interview with concrete recruitment possibilities.

To facilitate the acquisition of new knowledge and skills sorint. Lab has developed a multimedia platform where all sorintians can upload content that is interesting and useful for everyone’s growth: not only technical content, but also transversal skills such as public speech, conflict management and assertive communication.
Then there are the academia interna tional routes to professional growth: over the years, there is increasing investment in training and the constant enrichment of skills for people at sorint. Training routes are recognized as a means of increasing the value not only of the individual’s work, by responding to the constant need for updating and new skills needed to cope with the complex and dynamic nature of business processes.
