Artificial intelligence is increasingly present in everyday life today and is having a significant impact on the way humans and machines interact. What is meant by artificial intelligence? What techniques do we have available to us today within a hypothetical toolbox that AI makes available to us? These are some of the questions we will try to answer. We will focus on a particular tool: Machine Learning, exploring how it can be successfully used to solve various problems, and we will explore Deep Learning applied to computer vision and language interpretation.
